The Fundamental Increases Traffic Frequency

Ask yourself this simple question - Would I like to go seven miles/hour with one-hundred cars in my immediate driving vicinity or seventy miles/hour with ten cars in that same space? Either way, the same number of vehicles would pass a given point over any interval of time. In reports to follow, The Roadshepherd will help pave the way in understanding this physical concept by demonstrating how linear density plays a major role in frequency of traffic (# of cars passing a point), easing of the 'accordion-effect', smooth merging, etc. Plus, understandable charts and graphics will be developed for tutorials. Thanks.
